Through Community Concert Connections, the LA Phil distributes complimentary tickets to organizations, community groups, and nonprofits that work with individuals in need, and families, youth, and seniors who otherwise could not attend performances.

501(c)(3) organizations submit a brief application describing whom they serve, and, once accepted, receive a set of performance dates from which to request complimentary tickets. At The Ford, tickets may be offered for select evening performances during the summer season. During the winter season, tickets are offered for the Sounds About Town youth performances at Walt Disney Concert Hall. At the Hollywood Bowl, more than 30,000 complimentary tickets are offered for Tuesday and Thursday concerts by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. (There is a modest service charge for handling the ticket requests.)

About 100 organizations participate in the program, including senior centers, health service providers, homeless shelters, adult schools, AIDS service centers, foster care organizations, Boys & Girls Clubs, Big Sister organizations, religious organizations, and recreation centers.

If you would like to learn more about Community Concert Connections and request an application, please email your organization’s complete contact information, including the mailing address, to information@laphil.org.
