About the Facility

For sheer beauty and intimacy, it's hard to beat The Ford for summer entertainment under the stars. Nestled in the Hollywood Hills, the open-air amphitheatre is relatively intimate at just under 1,200 seats; no patron is more than 96 feet away from the stage.

In 2017, The Ford completed a nearly three-year renovation and restoration project designed to enhance the guest and performer experience. Improvements included a new lighting and sound package, a new two-level wood stage, new artist green room and dressing rooms, a new loading dock, a new sound wall to block noise from the 101 Freeway, a new concessions building with full kitchen, and a new picnic and performance terrace.

The entryway from the Box Office features a gradual climb with winding paths with gathering places where patrons can dine and mingle before the show.
