    Program Update: Bruckner's Symphony No. 7 Replaces 
    Bruckner's Symphony No. 9 

    Thursday through Saturday December 14 - 16, 2017, at 8 PM 
    Sunday, December 17, 2017, AT 2 PM

    WHAT:  

    Michael Tilson Thomas replaces Zubin Mehta in the Los Angeles Philharmonic's final orchestral program of the calendar year, Thursday, December 14 through Sunday, December 17. As previously announced, Mehta has been forced to withdraw from all engagements for the next three months due to shoulder surgery.

    Tilson Thomas also returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall with the San Francisco Symphony in March of 2018.

    In the December performances, Bruckner's Seventh Symphony replaces the originally programmed Ninth Symphony by the composer.

    Soloist Khatia Buniatishvili will play Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A, K. 488, as previously scheduled.
