Los Angeles, CA (March 7, 2017) - The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association announced today that Fleet Foxes and Beach House will perform on Saturday, September 23, at 8:00 PM as part of the 2017 Hollywood Bowl summer season. Single tickets go on sale Friday, March 17, at 10:00AM PDT. Fleet Foxes will make their Hollywood Bowl debut with their first L.A. show in six years, and joining on this bill is acclaimed Baltimore duo, Beach House, who will revisit the Bowl with their beautifully crafted, hazy pop tunes.
Fleet Foxes also announce today their highly anticipated third album, Crack-Up, which will be released June 16 on Nonesuch Records. Their self-titled debut made a profound impact on the international musical landscape, earning them Uncut's first-ever Music Award Prize, and topping numerous "Best Of" lists, including Rolling Stone's 100 Best Albums of the 2000's and Pitchfork's 50 Best Albums of 2008. Fleet Foxes is certified Gold in North America and Platinum in both the UK and Australia. The follow-up album Helplessness Blues was met with the same critical praise as its predecessor (MOJO five stars, Rolling Stone four stars, Pitchfork Best New Music); that album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200, went Gold in the UK, and earned the band a GRAMMY® nomination. Fleet Foxes is Robin Pecknold, Skyler Skjelset, Casey Wescott, Christian Wargo, and Morgan Henderson.
Beach House is Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally. They have been a band for over a decade living and working in Baltimore, MD. They have released six full-length albums in that time including two back-to-back LPs in 2015 titled Depression Cherry and Thank Your Lucky Stars. The band is currently putting the final touches on a compilation of B-Sides and rarities to released in the first part of 2017 as well as sporadic touring throughout the year, including their first return to the Hollywood Bowl since 2010.
