    WHAT:

    The beloved tradition of Tchaikovsky and fireworks returns to the Bowl with the Russian composer’s Violin Concerto in D major performed by Baiba Skride in her Hollywood Bowl debut. Principal Guest Conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl Bramwell Tovey leads the orchestra, which is joined by the USC Trojan Marching Band directed by Dr. Arthur C. Bartner. The spectacular evening is capped with the 1812 Overture complete with cannons and blazing pyrotechnics. The all-Tchaikovsky program also includes Festival Coronation March, Capriccio Italien and the Waltz from Swan Lake.
