Composer/arranger/keyboardist Mark Adams Watkins studied piano and commercial music at CSU Long Beach, CSU Los Angeles, and the Henry Mancini Institute. He has composed in many genres and mediums, including orchestrations for the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach. He has worked with pop singers such as Lou Rawls, Debby Harry, and Lisa Loeb, as well as chamber groups such as the Quadre horn quartet (of which LA Phil horn player Amy Jo Rhine is a member). He wrote Fire in the Hole, a short, vivacious romp, in 1997.
