About this Artist
Dutch alto INGEBORG BRÖCHELER graduated from the Free University of Amsterdam in Public Administration and Criminology, before she moved into the world of opera. She studied at the Amsterdam School of Arts, theater department, and got her classical music education at the Schumann Academy, studying with Jaap Smit. She has sung in masterclasses with Dale Duesing, Claron McFadden, Andrea Marcon, and Sarah Connolly. Currently she is studying with Paula de Wit and Rosemary Joshua.
As a soloist, Ingeborg has performed works by Bach, Pergolesi, Fux, Haydn, Mozart, Rossini, Brahms, and Duruflé. Recent recitals include songs by Schumann, Elgar, Wagner, and Britten.
