Joaquín Solano

Joaquín Solano, film and theatre actor, director and producer. Founder of the Micalet Theater in Valencia, with more than 20 shows in the last two decades.  His production has been shown in prestigious venues such as Les Bouffes du Nord, Théâtre De la Ville in Paris, Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne in Switzerland. His works include Hamlet Canalla, Midsummer Night Dreams, Un Jardí Francés, Cantata Criolla, (Los Angeles Philharmonic) La Ronda, Le Sixieme Continent, Le conte d´Hiver, El Jardí dels Cirerers, l´Oeil Du Loup, Un Amour Examplaire, I ara Què? Els 400!, VLCROM Rincontro da due, de Kabul a Bamako. His plays have been shown in Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Argentina and India.  Joaquin combines his acting and director career with various artistic collaborations in theater companies and in projects such as the Les Partageurs Foundation and the Compagnie MIA, in Paris. He has intervened in numerous films and television series as an actor and has also produced and directed documentaries and films such as 48 Hours, Maror l’òpera or The Two Lives of Andres Rabadan. Solano composed various soundtracks for plays and TV shows.
