About this Artist
Paul Radke began playing the trombone at the age of 10 on his father’s instrument, which was originally obtained in a trade for a pig. He grew up in Overland Park, KS, where he studied with Nathan Dishman and Roger Oyster. Radke holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music, where he studied under John Marcellus and Larry Zalkind, and a Master’s degree from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, where he studied under Allen Barnhill. He has also performed with the San Francisco Symphony and the Houston Symphony.
