About this Artist

Los Angeles County High School for the Arts Music Department offers all students the opportunity to study music theory (classical and jazz) training from music fundamentals to advanced harmony, perform in large and small ensembles (instrumental and vocal), and study music technology along with film scoring. Their award-winning jazz program is led by professional musicians who impart their experience to the next generation of jazz artists through a curriculum which holds students to the highest standards of excellence. Their jazz and vocal jazz ensembles have performed at a number of prestigious festivals including the Next Generation Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, and the Playboy Jazz Festival.
