About this Artist
Bass/baritone Scott Graff has appeared as a soloist with numerous ensembles, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Musica Angelica, Catacoustic Consort, the Carmel Bach Festival, California Bach Society, and Synchromy. His operatic work includes originating Josef Stalin in the world premiere of Lisa Scola Prosek’s Daughter of the Red Tsar, Dolores in the world premiere of Caliban Dreams, and Lewis and Father Tree in Michael Webster and Eileen Myles’ opera Hell. He most recently appeared as Farasmane in Musica Angelica’s production of Handel’s Radamisto in Mexico City.
In addition to his solo work, Scott is also an active ensemble singer. He is in his 14th season with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, he sings regularly with the Los Angeles Chamber Singers, and he is a member of the Millennium Consort. When not commuting between gigs, he resides in Long Beach with his wife and two children.
