VICTOR VANACORE, who last appeared at the Hollywood Bowl in 1998 with Ray Charles and His Orchestra, studied at the Berklee College of Music. He has been musical director for televised and live performances by such artists as Ray Charles, The Jackson Five, Barry Manilow, Johnny Mathis, and magician David Copperfield.As conductor, orchestrator, and arranger, he has worked with a number of North American symphony and pops orchestras, including those of Atlanta, Baltimore, Calgary, Colorado, Dallas, Florida, Houston, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Portland, St. Louis, Vancouver, and Washington, D.C. Vanacore’s engagements abroad have included the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna Boys Choir, the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra, New Zealand’s Auckland Symphony, the Bratislava Philarharmonic, and the Melbourne Symphony. He has also worked extensively in television and film as a session musician, orchestrator, and composer.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, Victor Vanacore is a frequent lecturer, public speaker, and teacher in all three languages.
