DOUGLAS SILLS (Joe Gillis) was most recently seen in Sony Pictures' sequel film, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, with a lead role opposite Rob Schneider. He also just appeared off-Broadway in The Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed production of Moonlight and Magnolias. That production followed his critically acclaimed performance in the Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors for director Jerry Zaks.

Sills has been highly praised for his role as Sir Percy in the Broadway production and National Tour of The Scarlet Pimpernel, a breathless adventure story set during the French Revolution, with thematic undercurrents of sacrifice, deception, and loyalty. His performance garnered Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle nominations and won him L.A. Ovation, Theater World, and Drama League Awards.

Los Angeles audiences saw Sills in the critically acclaimed Much Ado About Nothing for South Coast Rep (SCR) and as Mack Sennett in the Broadway-bound production of Mack and Mabel. He appeared at SCR in the world premiere of She Stoops to Folly and as C.K. Dexter Haven in the award-winning production of The Philadelphia Story. His other Los Angeles-area appearances include the local premiere of Chess and the Mark Taper Forum productions of Maxim Gorky's Summer People and George Bernard Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession.

Sills has received additional accolades for his performances in the Garland, the L.A. Drama Critics Circle, the Dramalogue, and Robby Awards. Sills has had starring or recurring roles on television shows including The Closer, Will and Grace, Numbers, Any Day Now, Party of Five, Murphy Brown, Coach, Sisters, Empty Nest, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Sliders. He is also a founding member of Antaeus Company and the proud producer of the L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award-winning musical about the life of Dinah Washington, Dinah Was.

Sills holds degrees from the University of Michigan and the American Conservatory of Theater.
