ROXIE PERKINS is a director and writer with a diverse body of work in theater, television, and digital platforms. Her work has been produced at CalArts, Oberlin, UCLA’s MFA New Play Festival, UCLA’s Francis Ford Coppola One Act Marathon, A Working Theater, HERE Arts Center, and New York’s Downtown Urban Theater Festival. Her work has been read at UCSD’s MFA Wagner New Play Festival and The LARK. She was a Finalist for the Aurora Theatre’s “Global Age Project” and was nominated for the Kilroys’ annual list ranking the best, unproduced plays by women. She was a Semi-Finalist for the Eugene O’Neill National Theatre Conference, and the 2014 Princess Grace Award. She is the youngest of the 2014 Sundance Playwright Fellows to be invited to the Ucross Artists Residency. She was awarded the 2014 Gaffney Award for Emerging Voices and has been published in Baumtest and Theatre Bay Area. She is a graduate of UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film and Television and is represented by Gersh Literary Agency and Manage-ment.
