CALEB GLICKMAN is a member of the Concert Choir of the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, under the direction of Anne Tomlinson. His 2010 performance of the title role in Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors at the Pasadena Playhouse was “delightful” (Los Angeles Times), “absolutely lovely,” and “enchanting” (StageSceneLA.com). He was the cover for Miles in the 2011 LA Opera production of Britten’s Turn of the Screw, and was a featured performer in the 2009 LA Opera production of The Magic Flute, appearing as one of the three Genii. This summer he has performed twice at the Hollywood Bowl, singing with the LACC in the concert version of Puccini’s Turandot and in Philip Glass’ Powaqqatsi. Caleb also performed with the LACC in the 2008 and 2010 concert versions of Carmen at the Bowl; the latter performance was conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. He performed in the 2008 LA Opera productions of Otello and Tosca. In 2010, he performed in Bach’s St. Matthew Passion with the Los Angeles Master Chorale at Walt Disney Concert Hall, and he was a featured soloist in the Los Angeles Chamber Choir’s 2009 performance of Handel’s Messiah. In June 2009, Caleb performed on The Tonight Show as part of an LACC ensemble that sang backup for John Mayer. He has toured in the U.S. and overseas with the LACC, performing in Sweden, Finland, and Estonia, among other locations. Caleb is 13 years old and attends ninth grade at Hamilton High School’s Academy of Music in Los Angeles.
