VANESSA DIONNE has supervised more than 80 theatrical productions in her 18-year makeup and hair career. A proud member of IATSE Local 706, Dionne is thrilled to be a part of the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s production of Alice In Wonderland. Her previous Walt Disney Concert Hall credits include Così fan tutte, Frank Zappa’s 200 Motels and the Marriage of Figaro. A world-renowned artist, Dionne has supported such productions as the Oscars and Broadway tours, including Kinky Boots, Book of Mormon; Lion King; Wicked; Beauty and the Beast; Rock of Ages; Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; Legally Blonde; and Hair. Dionne has worked as the head of hair and makeup at the Dolby Theatre for Cirque du Soleil’s IRIS; as an assistant wigmaster for the Los Angeles Opera; as a hair and makeup supervisor at the Mark Taper Forum; and as a makeup designer at the Pasadena Playhouse. Dionne’s film credits include Titanic, Planet of the Apes, League of Extraordinary Gentleman, The Country Bears, and The Cat in the Hat. Dionne’s Television credits include, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Monopoly Millionaires’ Club, KTTV Fox 11 News, and CBS. Dionne was most recently nominated for Best Makeup and Hair for Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Così fan tutte at the IATSE Makeup Artist and Hairstylist Guild Awards.
