Later this spring, watch four new performances by musicians from the Los Angeles Philharmonic recorded on the stage of The Ford. The chamber music recitals were one of the first time the small groups of LA Phil musicians were able to play music together using social distancing guidelines and one of the first chances the musicians had to perform at the venue.
“We’ve not really [had the chance] to play here. It’s a really pretty setting,” said LA Phil Viola Dana Lawson.
All four filmed recitals—featuring music by Tchaikovsky, Astor Piazzolla, Clara Schumann, and Arturo Márquez—will be released starting in May as part of Sound/Stage, the LA Phil’s free online concert series. See the full schedule and links to each video below.
