About this Performance

On her new EP If I Should Die, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Niia dives inward in search of answers to deeply existential questions. Her noir journey is soundtracked by nocturnal jazz and haunting pop, and edged with dark alternative. The LA musician has shared stages with Jorja Smith and The xx, and has collaborated with Khruangbin’s Laura Lee and Jazmine Sullivan, but on this night, she makes The Ford’s stage her own. Brooklyn-born Ian Isiah (a.k.a. Big Shugga) was raised on gospel music and has infused his heart and soul into a new brand of modern R&B and radio rap. The Blood Orange collaborator is also a key player in New York’s underground DJ club culture and the LGBTQ movement, having found the sweet spot where music meets lifestyle.

Produced in partnership with Mixed Feelings: LA Natives Mixed Feelings are an independent concert, festival, and special event production company.
