About this Artist
Amanda Martz is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, and educator whose career is defined by a rigorous technical foundation and nearly two decades of performance excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Choreography and Performance, complemented by a Minor in Education, from the University of California, Irvine.
Martz’s early trajectory was marked by leadership and elite training. She credits much of her training to Aspire Dance Studio, along with additional training at industry-leading institutions including EDGE Performing Arts Center and Millennium Dance Complex. A former member of the Sole Talk Tap Company under the direction of Chloe and Maud Arnold, she further refined her craft, touring nationally as a convention assistant with REVEL.
Her versatile performance portfolio spans prestigious stages and screens alike. Notable credits include the Syncopated Ladies Live concert, Jazz Dance Conference West, and appearances at world-class venues such as Crypto.com Arena and the Barclay Theater. Her screen presence is equally distinguished, with features on Apple TV+’s Hello Jack! The Kindness Show, as well as various concept films and independent cinema.
Currently, Martz serves on the United Spirit Association (USA) Dance Staff and the Backhaus Dance Education Team, while maintaining a prolific schedule as a guest choreographer for elite high school programs. A dedicated teaching artist at Aspire Dance Studio, Martz continues to influence the next generation of artists, bridging the gap between technical precision and emotive storytelling.
