About this Artist
Emma Edythe is a multifaceted performer, choreographer, and movement director who has spent the last decade establishing herself as a cornerstone of the Los Angeles dance community. Originally from the Jersey Shore, Edythe holds a BFA in Commercial Dance, with a specialized focus on on-camera work - a discipline that allows her to seamlessly navigate the intersection of live theater and digital media.
For six years, Edythe toured as a principal performer with the all-female Australian company Tap That, gracing iconic stages such as the Dolby Theatre. This international exposure catalyzed her transition into creative production and movement direction. Over the past two years, she has become a sought-after visionary for high-energy music videos, most notably collaborating with pop artist Elli Moore to craft sophisticated, rhythm-driven visual narratives.
Edythe’s artistic philosophy is rooted in the power of community and the organic rhythms of the natural world. Currently a key member of the DrumatiX ensemble, she integrates percussion and theatricality to create immersive, high-art experiences. Whether on a soundstage or in the rehearsal room, her work is characterized by a commitment to fostering safe, collaborative environments where innovation can flourish.
