About this Performance

In 2023, Paris Paloma’s feminist rallying cry “Labour” blew up on TikTok. Comparisons to female powerhouse vocalists such as Florence Welsh and Kate Bush followed, along with her 2024 album Cacophony, a “debut [that] swings big, tackling themes of death and patriarchal oppression through earthy imagery and dense alt-pop arrangements” (Pitchfork). She’s since opened for Florence + The Machine on the Everybody Scream tour and released the single “Miyazaki,” which takes on both AI and climate change with Paloma’s trademark blend of nuanced social consciousness and anthemic songwriting. Making her Ford debut, the British singer-songwriter invites us to enter her world, “one built on community, love, support and believing in fairies (which Paloma lovingly calls her group of fans)” (Forbes).
