Thee Sacred Souls
On their debut album for Daptone Records, Thee Sacred Souls are warm and alive, mixing the easygoing grace of sweet ’60s soul with the grit and groove of early ’70s R&B. And even as they look across the world for inspiration—citing the classic sounds of Chicano, Philly, Chicago, Memphis, and Panamanian soul—they’re grounded in the reality of everyday life in 2023. They’ve impressed on Colbert and Kimmel, and they make their Ford debut as a crackling seven-piece band.
