Olé Los Angeles

The Ford

María “La Chacha” Bermúdez, artistic director of Olé Los Angeles, invites audiences of all ages to experience lively, traditional flamenco dance while learning up close about this unique art form. With live music and dancers, the program features high-energy performances, storytelling through movement, and interactive moments that explore the improvisational Spanish dance. Come early as members of Flamenco! Santa Barbara lead family friendly activities.

Each LA Soundscapes family event features a pre-concert activity and participatory artmaking.

  • 10am: Interactive activities and curated art-making in collaboration with LA Commons
  • 11:30am: Performance
  • Best for: Ages 3–11
  • Attendee tip: These are daytime events and can get sunny. Don't forget your sunscreen and sun hats! Due to the natural shift of the sun during this morning performance, as available, audience members can shift into shaded locations.
