LOS ANGELES (April 30, 2026) – The LA Phil announces the addition of special guests to Music from the Films of Wes Anderson at the Hollywood Bowl. Beck, Jackson Browne, Ami Dang, Britt Daniel, Jeff Goldblum, Jim James, Mark Mothersbaugh, Karen O, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Rufus Wainwright, Iryna Orlova leading the Ukrainian Mosaic Orchestra of balalaikas and domras, and Kaoru Watanabe, plus additional guests to be announced. Special guests will join the Los Angeles Philharmonic led by conductor Thomas Wilkins, an all-star house band featuring Musical Director Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Roger Joseph Manning Jr., Jason Falkner, Joey Waronker, and Gus Seyffert, for a once-in-a-lifetime, musical retrospective of the influential director’s work. Please note: Each night will feature a different slate of guest artists. Additional details and guests TBA.

The lineup includes a combination of Anderson’s collaborators and ardent fans of his stylized world, indelible characters, and unforgettable soundtracks. Special guests join the Los Angeles Philharmonic led by Thomas Wilkins and an all-star house band on Friday and Saturday, July 10 & 11, at 8PM, and the all-star house band on Sunday, July 12, at 7PM.

Developed in partnership with Wes Anderson and his longtime music supervisor and music producer Randall Poster, Music from the Films of Wes Anderson features score and soundtrack selections, plus film clips spanning the director’s 30-year filmography, from Bottle Rocket to The Phoenician Scheme.

Music is a hallmark of Anderson’s storytelling, contributing to some of cinema’s most memorable moments. The concert celebrates those moments and more with a combination of the popular songs that have become legendary Anderson needle drops, orchestral music, and the scores of Alexandre Desplat and Mark Mothersbaugh.

“I can’t wait for people to see what we have in store for them at the Hollywood Bowl,” remarked Randall Poster. “We have a dream lineup of musicians paying tribute to the music from Wes’ films, plus a lot of friends helping us create special experiences for fans on and off the stage. This is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of Wes’ brilliant work and all the musicians who have played a role in it.”

Beyond the stage, the grounds of the Hollywood Bowl become Wes Anderson’s wonderful world with themed displays, curated treats, and special merchandise provided, in part, by the program’s partners ABKCO Music & Records, Accidentally Wes Anderson, Air Mail, BonBon, The Criterion Collection, Montblanc, Vinyl Factory, and more. Audiences are encouraged to join in the campus-wide celebration of Anderson’s visual aesthetic and musical curation.
