About this Artist

Ariana Lee (she/her/她) is a Taiwanese and Chinese American writer from Houston, TX. She is an inaugural Public Poets Fellow with Youth Speaks, the 2022-2023 Houston Youth Poet Laureate, and two-time member of Meta4 Houston, which became the first slam team from Houston to win Brave New Voices in 2023. Her work has appeared in POETRY, Button Poetry, The Offing, and elsewhere. She has opened for US Poet Laureate Ada Limón and performed original work for organizations such as NASA, Stop AAPI Hate, and the Aspen Institute. She is a student at Stanford University.
