Lauren Marie Mikus is a dynamic music supervisor recently Emmy-nominated for her outstanding work on the Hulu hit series Only Murders in the Building. Her recent work includes the 20th Century Studios film The Bikeriders, directed by Jeff Nichols and starring Jody Comer, Austin Butler, and Tom Hardy, as well as the Netflix period farce The Decameron, from producers Jenji Kohan and Kathleen Jordan, starring Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Tony Hale, and Zosia Mamet.
Lauren is a two-time Guild of Music Supervisors Awards winner for the Academy Award Best Picture Everything Everywhere All At Once. She cut her teeth in her hometown of Austin, Texas, working in various roles with the iconic director Terrence Malick on Tree of Life (Brad Pitt, Jessica Chastain), Knight of Cups (Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman), Song To Song, To The Wonder, and A Hidden Life. She has steadily grown her work in independent film, most notably on The Daniels’ previous film Swiss Army Man and Jeff Nichols’ Loving.
Lauren’s recent projects include Emily The Criminal (directed by John Patton Ford and starring Aubrey Plaza), the Apple TV+ projects Hello Tomorrow! (starring Alison Pill, Hank Azaria, Billy Crudup) and ROAR (starring Nicole Kidman and Issa Rae), Tom Perrotta’s HBO limited series Mrs. Fletcher (Kathryn Hahn), and the IFC film Shirley, starring Elizabeth Moss, which earned its director Josephine Decker the U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award at Sundance.
