About this Artist
voices/LA is Los Angeles’ newest mixed generational choral ensemble, uniting singers from diverse backgrounds to celebrate both the great choral traditions of the past, and the vibrant sounds of the present.
The ensemble’s mission is to perform thought-provoking, high-level choral music while understanding the needs and wants of the community. Through training, collaboration, and artistry, voices/LA supports its singers in achieving the highest level of musicianship and connection, both on and off the stage.
An auditioned choir composed of professional and highly trained singers representing five counties—Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura—voices/LA has performed at Walt Disney Concert Hall, collaborated with acclaimed actress and comedian Melissa Peterman, and been a featured choir of studio sessions at The Village Recording Studio, former recording home of Lady Gaga, Cher, Fleetwood Mac, and many more.
Beyond the concert stage and studio, voices/LA extends its impact through education and media, exploring new ways to engage audiences in the modern era. The ensemble also produces Classically/SPEAKING, a podcast that spotlights conversations with artists, composers, and cultural leaders, bridging classical music with contemporary voices and ideas.
