Liv Rion

About this Artist

Liv is a 22-year-old singer, songwriter, and community educator from the Quinault Indian Nation, with ancestral roots in Hoopa and Yurok territories along the Klamath River in Northern California. Raised between the Pacific Northwest and her tribal communities, her work is deeply shaped by the lands, songs, and stories that raised her.

Her sound blends soulful R&B with touches of jazz, pop, and traditional Indigenous influences. More than a genre, Liv’s music is a form of medicine, for herself and for others. She sings about healing, grief, growth, and identity with a voice that feels both spiritual and grounded - creating space for others to feel seen and safe.

Liv’s connection to Los Angeles is also part of her story. Her grandparents migrated from Mexico City to LA, where her father was raised. Years later, she followed that path, leaving Washington and finding deep belonging in LA’s creative and cultural communities. Whether performing, teaching, or opening space with a traditional honor song, Liv leads with intention and heart, carrying forward the responsibility that comes with having a voice, and using it to bring people closer to themselves and each other.
