About this Artist

Brandi Strona is a three-time IATSE Makeup Artist and Hair stylist. Guild Award winner for LA Opera’s productions of Magic Flute in 2014, Cinderella in 2021 and The Hollywood Bowls production of Kinky Boots in 2022. Brandi has worked with LA Opera for the past 25 years, having worked on over 150 productions. She has worked on and designed multiple productions for the Hollywood Bowland The LA Phil. Brandi has also worked the national tours of Kinky Boots and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. She has worked at CTG and other theatrical venues across Southern California. Brandi is a licensed esthetician. She has a BA in theatrical design, with an emphasis in wigs and makeup, from Cal Poly Pomona. She has been a member of IATSE local 706 for 24 years.
