Below is the message from JP Saxe about the cancellation of his tour:

Hey, it’s JP. Despite a beautiful team effort these last few days, we didn’t sell enough tickets to keep my fall tour alive, so I’ll be humbly refunding every single one. This whole thing’s been a little embarrassing and a lot sad—but your overwhelmingly generous effort to try and save the tour, showing up and spreading the word, reminded me why I’ll always choose sincerity over ego. I appreciate you so much for that. Thank you for letting my songs be a part of your life… it means more than you know. I don’t know what the next move is yet, but I know there will be something—and I’ll be so grateful to have you with me when we get there.

In the four years since JP Saxe’s “If the World Was Ending” was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2021 Grammys, the singer and songwriter has collaborated with Maren Morris and John Mayer, been nominated for Artist of the Year and Album of the Year at Canada’s Juno Awards, and found himself playing his songs for more and more people. For an introspective artist his work gives him more chances to chase after the feelings we all have in common. “My favorite art makes me feel closer to a part of myself,” he says. “If my art can get you closer to a part of yourself that you can get some new emotional access to, that’s a win.” It’s an up close and personal night when he makes his Ford debut.
